Breathworks is a specific body-mind meditation. This form of meditation is a form of practicing mindfulness within oneself. Breathwork utilizes conscious, connected breathing (no pause between inhale and exhale). In this diaphragmatically breathing fashion (sometimes called circular), the participates will go into a meditated state. By breathing an open, healthy and connected breath, our bodies naturally begin to release physical tension and surface levels of stress. The individual is actively involved and must initiate the conscious breathing process for themselves.
